Straightline Custom Painting, LLC is a locally owned and operated business employing anywhere from 14 to 21 painters. Our Foremen run well equipped crews efficiently and ethically while also practicing good housekeeping throughout the duration of the job. Straightline Custom Painting provides customers with a high quality of workmanship and conducts business honestly and fairly.

The owner, Stephen Zaun, has lived and worked in Sedona for over 43 years and supervises each project. All Straightline employees are highly qualified in the preparation and application of paint, stain, lacquer, epoxy, roof coatings and many other industrial coatings.

Straightline Custom Painting is a very diverse company, performing work from the commercial industry to the very detailed custom home in a timely manner. Straightline Custom Painting offers refinishing services for cabinetry or wood products, specialty finishes such as suede, roof coatings, epoxy floor coatings, staining and lacquering of doors and windows along with industrial steel coatings for metal surfaces.

Our Process

Existing/New Structures Preparation:

  1. Preparation of all interior and exterior surfaces receiving paint shall include removing foreign material by power washing or scraping, spackling, retexturing, filling, sanding, priming, and sealing as required.
  2. New surfaces will be primed with appropriate coatings prior to the application of paint.
  3. After thorough preparation, all surfaces will then be coated with designated materials.
  4. All painting shall be in accordance with written Contractor provided paint specifications and color schemes. **All colors to be provided and approved prior to application.
  5. Regardless of the number of coats called for, Straightline Custom Painting will ensure 100% coverage of all surfaces to be painted.

Straightline Custom Painting Painters will practice good housekeeping throughout the duration of the job.

Our process is not limited to these procedures depending upon the scale of work necessary for proper preparation and application.  This is just one example.
